Box Room Makeover

For this project the client wanted to make this room inviting, colourful, warm and functional with new storage to organise her sons clothing after returning from university. Minimalist slim line furniture was needed to enable all clothes to be folded and stored away neatly without being on show.

The Space After The Makeover

The room was completely redecorated and a colour block was added to frame the bed and create a focal point for the room. A slim line wardrobe and floating storage pods were installed creating new storage. New bedding and curtains provided a monochrome colour backdrop for the colourful earthy tones in the custom city maps. Olive green and burnt orange accents in the soft furnishings brought warmth and texture to the room. The wall mounted pods provided storage for toiletries, study supplies, cables, accessories and a large collection of football shirts.

“When I saw how Katie had transformed the room I actually cried. I hadn’t realised how my lack of vision for the spaces in my house had been getting me down. I expected her work to physically change my home, but the positive effect it’s had on my mental well-being really took me by suprise. I couldn’t believe what she had achieved so quickly and exactly to my budget.”
